The Book of Fuck:
The Book Of Fuck is a short, sharp cult fiction pastiche where the absurd underworld of music and reality is exaggerated to new dimensions. Following the frantic movements of a rock fan on the trail of public enemy number one, The Book Of Fuck is a buckled break-neck rant let loose at punk rock speed, literature that comes none more black.

"A mix of furious punning, musical musing and starving artist clichés twisted into new shapes, all set against his love of London's squalid glamour. It's a prose style that can certainly be called punk rock, but the tone of our hero is far more gentle and even genteel than even the most half-hearted sneer from Mr Rotten.

He's a Cat Stevens' fan, for Christ's sake..." - Spike magazine

Says Ben: "This book was written off the back of a number of rejected novels. I was 24, broke, freezing cold and about to be evicted, so decided to set myself the task of writing a novel within in a week. It was a whole new approach that disregarded certain literary ideas and traditions; either way I was going to get it done. I drank lots of coffee, smoked lots of weed, didn't answer the phone or leave my flat (except for some eggs), et voila, it was written. I put it in the post and - ahem - four years later it was published. Above all, The Book Of Fuck is a triumph for typing, if not the human spirit. The book is unashamedly influenced by Charles Bukowski, Henry Miller, Richard Brautigan and John Fante, who are all dead."
